Kisses for Kyle welcomes Adam Crognale, Bat Boy for the Philadelphia Phillies, as our spokesperson of the year!
Adam has close ties to Kisses for Kyle, spanning back from his diagnosis with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma of Bone. Read more about Adam's story below!

Adam Crognale has been the Bat Boy for the Philadelphia Phillies for the past five years. His career began in 2021 with an MVP season from Bryce Harper, followed by four-straight playoff appearances, which included a National League Championship in 2022. Adam was also voted in by fans to go to the MLB All-Star Game in 2025 as a member of the “All-Star Ball Crew.” This opportunity is only given to two Bat or Ball Boys/Girls in the entire MLB.
Although there have been countless memories for Adam on the field, it’s been his work in the community that has turned heads. At the age of 15, Adam was diagnosed with cancer (Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma of Bone) in his right knee. Fast forward to 2026, and Adam is in survivorship at Penn Hospital after aging out of CHOP where he was treated. With a new perspective on life, Adam has made it a point to give back to the community whenever and wherever he can.
During his treatments at CHOP, Adam and his mother were approached by Sharon Snyder about Kisses for Kyle. That introduction has blossomed into a long-lasting relationship. No matter how much time passes between conversations, their talks always seem to pick up right where they left off. One of Adam’s best moments with Sharon was helping introduce Kisses for Kyle’s mascot, Kourage! Adam views Sharon as a part of the close circle that helped him get to where he is today. He is extremely grateful for the constant support Sharon has shown him, and is happy to help the organization in whatever way he can, especially during this monumental year in Kisses for Kyle’s legacy.
