Kisses for Kyle is celebrating our 5 year anniversary Scholarship program! In our 1st year, we provided $5000 in scholarships. In our 2nd, 3rd and 4th years we provided $10,000 in scholarships each year. In our 5th year, we are thrilled to share with everyone, what we thought would be another year of providing $10,000 in scholarships turned into $15,000 in scholarships to be awarded to 3 students each receiving up to a one year $5000 scholarship. Each student awarded has faced a cancer diagnosis and are receiving a college education to help other children in their professions upon graduation!
Many thanks to our voting committee for your dedication, commitment and thoroughness to help select this year's scholarship recipients! Many thanks to our friends at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia for providing a joyous opportunity to invite each of our scholarship recipients to our private party last evening. It was extra special to have them surrounded by our Kisses for Kyle families cheering for them!!
Please help Kisses for Kyle congratulate our three 2022 scholarship recipients who will each receive a 1 year, up to $5000 scholarship:
Nicholas Matyas who plans to have a career as a Pediatric Oncology Nurse!
Corin Stewart who plans to have a career as an Oncology Child Life Specialist!
Tori Herrschaft who plans to have a career as a Pediatric Oncology Nurse!
We are very excited to follow their continued footsteps and we hope you follow right along side us as we cheer on these tremendous young adults!
We could not have the opportunity to provide our scholarships without our amazing partners! Please help us thank our friends:
Sharing Hope Dinner Dance, Joseph Alexander Foundation, Live Like Lucy (more to follow on the beautiful spiritual dance that took place) and funds donated in loving memory of Chase Olsen on what would have been his 22nd Birthday. It is a true honor to receive your deep rooted support. Each of you will be helping us assist each student succeed as they each enter their adult lives helping children who are facing illnesses each of them once did.

Zoey, Ava, Emma, Julia, and Avery are amazing friends with great hearts! They instantly realized surging gas prices hit our families hard transporting their children to vital appointments. They jumped into action and raise $395.60 for fuel and transportation assistance. Thank you for your wonderful fundraiser and for helping our families battling childhood cancer. 🐞⛽🥰 #kissesforkyle #childhoodcancerawareness #teamworkmakesthedreamwork 🐞⛽🥰

On Saturday evening, Kisses for Kyle had the pleasure of inviting two of our families to enjoy an extra special evening with our friends and tremendous partners, the Philadelphia Union & Subaru! Both families started their day with us in Ocean City then took off to arrive at the Subaru Park. They were interviewed by PHL17, enjoyed field seats to cheer on the Union, club access with food and beverages and time with their favorite Union players! We are all so fortunate to receive this golden kindness and love. Special thank you to our friend Allie and everyone who makes these experiences fabulous from beginning to end, building lifelong bonds and memories within our hearts!
From Elliott & Olivia’s Mom Grace:
“It was an amazing night. From the moment we arrived until we left, the kids (we) felt like VIPs and the whole Union, from the coach and players to the staff made us feel like family. Being able to enjoy these moments with our family and fellow onco family helps create memories with our warriors that we'll never forget. Huge shout out to the Union, Subaru and Kisses for Kyle 🎗💛”.

In 2018, we met the Krysko family soon after their son Dylan was diagnosed with a brain cancer medulloblastoma. During rehabilitation, Dylan went through intensive therapy rehabilitation. It’s astonishing the strides he has made with all he endured. It’s beautiful to see his recovery with how much his family stood by every single step forward. Recently, Dylan’s Mom Becky reached out sharing Dylan has graduated from his adaptive trike which was instrumental with his recovery. The Krysko family wanted us to find a family in current need to pay it forward with the hope their child would receive the same help. Last year we connected with the Luyber family. Their daughter Madison had been diagnosed with non-germinomatuous brain tumor. When Madison’s Mom Julie read the offer, she reached out expressing what a great help this would be for Madison. This weekend our two families met and today Madison rode her new adaptive trike for the very first time. Look at the pure joy with their bright beautiful smiles encompassing their beautiful faces! Many thanks to the Krysko family for your never ending kindness and we wish Madison as much help as Dylan received!!
